LARGE CARGOES LEAVING.
CHRISTCHURCH, April 27. The sis. Waimate, which is sailing shortly for London, has a cargo of pelts and tallow, the first shipment of that class from Lyttelton for som« time. A full cargo of frozen meat (about 120,000 carcases) will be shipped to London by the Woodara, which is expected to arrive next month from Queensland, and will load at Timaru and Lyttelton. The Kent, wliich left for Napier last night to complete her loading, also carried 47,000 carcases of mutton for the United Kingdom. The Victory, also sailing for the United Kingdom, will make up a cargo «f frozen meat, wool, tallow, and pelts a. South Island ports. .
