HIGHER RENTS.
MR LLOYD/GEORGE TO TAKE ACTION. LONDON, October 14. Mr Pratt, in the House of Com mons, stated that property-owners in Glasgow and on the Tyneside had made i extortionate increases in rents. Mr Lloyd George said he proposed to deal with the matter drastically.
