(Received December 17, 9.5 a.m.) BRISBANE, December 17. The power-house at the Mount Morgan mine was destroyed by fire, and all work will be practically stopped for 10 da,ys. ' • ,■*-■„' The store premises of the Mew Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company at Rockhampton were completely gutted by fire, and the stock destroyed. It was insured for £9000, which about covers the loss.
