WELLINGTON, May 22. At a meeting of the Management Committee of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association to-night, a letter was received from the Australian Lawn Tennis Association "asking that a place should be recommended' where the Davis Cup is to Be played. The committee decided to call a special meeting of the Council for June 27, at which the New Zealand Association will be consulted upon the matter. The Association in the four chief centres are being written to for information as to the suitability of «aph place. The Australian Association asks for a-match court and two separate practice courts for the competing .teams to practise on, and inquires the estimated cost of stands to. hold 500 persons and the cost of preparation and rental of -grounds. Dr. W. V. Eaves was appointed New Zealand delegate to the All England Lawn Tennis Association.
