WELLINGTON, May 22. At a special meeting of the Council of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association, held to-night, Messrs A. Marryatt and J. H. ■Pollock, representatives of the Ota go Centre, handed in theii- resignations. This action is the outcome of Otn-gb resentment at the action of the delegates in voting for Wellington as. the place to hold the Australasian championships, "contrary to the instructions "of t'ho Otago Centre. The resignations were accepted, and the delegates thanked for their services to amateur athletics.
