LOANS AND LOCAL BODIES ACT.
AUCKLAND, February 20. The Premier informed a deputation, which protested against the handing over of sinking funds to the Government under the Loans and Local Bodies Act, that the scheme must be accepted as a whole. He could not allow bodies to choose whether they would como under the Act. .
