NELSON'S MINERAL RESOURCES.

NELSON, February 20. The Evening Mail has been informed by Messrs Maginnity and Son, solicitors, that a wealthy North ■ Island syndicate, represented by Messrs Sainsbury, Lo«an and Williams, of Napier, has acquired an option over; the mineral area at Onekaka, near Nelson, and held by Mr T. A. Turnbull. Work on the area is being carried on and extensive developments are expected shortly.
