Can Hold Out a Few Weeks.
The Mikado and the Navy.
Received Dec. 27, 9.6 a.m. London, Dec. 26 The Russian press state that the inner lines will enable Port Arthur to resist for several weeks. Admiral Togo reports that the unnecessary parts of the blockade have been remo vod, and a closer watch kept on the t'lockade runners and the few destroyers still afloat.
The Japanese advanced batteries at Port Arthur are reaching the " Sevastopol," and the shots have taken effect.
