Special Report. I have the honour to report that the Native Affairs Committee this day passed the following resolution: — . . . " That the Committee desires to place on record its appreciation of the efficient and courteous manner in which the Chairman, Mr. C. H. Clinkard, has conducted the business of the Committee, and that this resolution be reported to the House." 25th October, 1935.

Final Report. I have the honour to report that the Native Affairs Committee, consisting of fifteen members, has held eleven meetings during the session, the average attendance at each being six. Including twenty-seven petitions brought forward from last session, the Committee had before it fifty-five petitions. Twenty-three petitions were reported on and thirty-two are held over. Parliamentary Papers Nos. 124 and 125 were duly considered and reported on. The Native Purposes Bill and the Native Housing Bill were considered and reported on. 25th October, 1935.
