Native Purposes Bill. I am directed to report that the Native Affairs Committee, to which was referred the Native Purposes Bill, has duly considered the same, and recommends that the Bill be allowed to proceed with amendments shown on a copy of the Bill attached hereto. 24th October, 1935.

No. 170.—Petition of S. T. Keen and 6 Others, of Rotorua. Praying for payment of accounts for goods allegedly supplied to men employed on Native development schemes. I am directed to report that in the opinion of the Committee this petition should be referred to the Government for inquiry by a competent officer of the Native Department. 25th October, 1935.
