Tomato-gardens Registration Bill. I have the honour to report that the Agricultural and Pastoral Committee has carefully considered the above-mentioned Bill, and recommends that it be allowed to proceed with the amendments shown on the copy of the Bill attached hereto. 6th December, 1933.

No. 216.—Petition of W. E. Caley-Alexander, of Piopio. Praying for a compassionate grant for services rendered in connection with the eradication of ragwort. I have the honour to report that the Committee recommends that the petition be referred to the Government for favourable consideration. Bt.li December, 1933.

No. 180. —Petition of T. C. Jacobsen and 254 others, of Auckland. Praying that the Poultry Amendment Bill be not proceeded with. I have the honour to report that as the desires of the petitioners are met, in that the interests of keepers of a small number of fowls are safeguarded, the Committee has no recommendation to make. Bth December, 1933.

Dairy Industry Amendment Bill. I have the honour to report that the Committee has carefully considered the above Bill, and recommends that it be allowed to proceed without amendment. 14th December, 1933.

Auckland Metropolitan Milk Bill. I am directed to report that the Committee has carefully considered the above Bill, and recommends that it be allowed to proceed with the amendments shown on the copy of the Bill annexed hereto. 16th December, 1933.

Wellington City Milk-supply Amendment Bill. 1 am directed to report that the Committee has carefully considered the above Bill, and recommends that it be allowed to proceed without amendment. 18th December, 1933.
