IMMIGRATION AND EMIGRATION: RETURNS FOR MAY, JUNE, JULY, AUGUST, AND SEPTEMBER, 1894.

Returns to Orders of the House of Representatives, dated Ist August and sth October, 1894. Ordered (Aug. 1), "That a return be laid before this House showing the immigration and emigration at the various ports of the colony during the months of May and June, 1894, and in the form in which such returns have hitherto appeared in the Gazette; further, that similar returns for subsequent months be laid before this House during the sitting of the House."—(Mr. Duthie.) Ordered (Oct. 5), "That there be laid before this House the emigration and immigration returns for September." —(Dr. Newman.)
