I notice that in this small hospital a reduction of Is. 2f d. in the daily cost per head has been made. I found the wards much improved and brightened in appearance. Everything appeared to be in good order.

Great improvements have been effected since my last visit. A wash-house, coal-house, and mortuary have been provided. I found, however, that, owing to the proximity of the closets, the Store was rendered useless. New beds have been provided, and the whole aspect of the place was homely and comfortable. There has been an increase of Is. Id. in the daily cost per head. 3—H. 23.
