All the objections which I had previously made to the ventilation of this hospital have been carefully remedied, and I found the fullest evidence of careful management on the part of all concerned.

PALMEBSTON NOBTH HOSPITAL. Palmerston North, 7th March, 1893. This is a commodious and well-designed new hospital, which has not yet been opened because of some delay in getting the drainage properly arranged. A great deal of interest has been shown in raising money locally for the building. A sum of £1,382 12s. 2d. was raised by local subscriptions, and the total cost up to date has been £2,282 18s.
