May it please Your Excellency,— We, the members of the North Island Eepresentation Commission appointed by Your Excellency on the 29th day of May, 1902, have the honour now to forward to Your Excellency the names and descriptions of boundaries of the electoral districts provisionally fixed by us under the authority of our commission, and which we propose publishing forthwith in the New Zealand Gazette in compliance with section 4 of "The Eepresentation Act, 1887." We have arranged to meet again on the Bth August next for the purpose of considering any objections that may be lodged under the above-named section, and after considering and disposing of such objections we shall have the honour of again reporting to Your Excellency the final result. NORTH ISLAND ELECTORAL DISTRICTS. Bay of Islands. Bay of Islands District comprises the Counties of Mangonui, Whangaroa, and Bay of Islands, and the whole of Hokianga County less the Waipoua Riding thereof; together with Otonga Riding of Whangarei County, that portion of Hikurangi Riding of Whangarei County lying west of the Whakapara and Wairua Rivers, that portion of Wairua Riding situated to the north of the Moengawahine River and Aponga Post-office, and the north-west corner of Maunu Riding of Whangarei County situated north of the Mangakahia River and west of the Hikurangi River. Kaipara. Kaipara District comprises the whole of the County of Hobson ; the Waipoua Riding of Hokianga County; the Tokatoka, Matakohe, Paparoa, and Whakapirau Ridings of Otamatea County; that portion of Kaiwaka Riding of Otamatea County situated west of the Main North Road ; that portion of Albert Riding of Rodney County situated south-west of Te Hana River known as Albertland South and Wharehine Road Districts ; and the whole of Tauhoa Riding of Rodney County excepting that portion situated east of Sections 69, 70, 145, 75, 77, 78, 79, 80, 128, and 111, Parish of Tauhoa; also that portion of Upper Mahurangi Riding of Rodney County lying west of the Onehunga Stream and the Kaitoto Stream, near Kaipara Flat Post-office ; the whole of Mairetahi Riding of Waitemata County ; and that portion of Kaukapakapa Riding of Waitemata County situated north-west of a line commencing where the Helensville Railway-line crosses the Waipatukahu Stream, near Reweti Railway-station, and proceeding thence easterly along the railwayline to the Ahukuramu Stream, thence northerly along that stream to the Kumeu River, thence along the Kumeu River to the Waikoukou River, and thence along the Waikoukou River to the eastern boundary of Kaukapakapa Riding. Helensville Town District is in this district.

Marsden. Marsden District comprises the Borough of Whangarei; the whole of Whangarei County less Otonga Riding, and those portions of Hikurangi, Wairua, and Maunu Ridings absorbed by the Bay of Islands District, hereinbefore described ; the Mareretu and Wairau Ridings of Otamatea County ; that portion of Kaiwaka Riding of Otamatea County lying east of the Main North Road; that portion of Albert Riding of Rodney County situated north of Te Hana River known as Albertland North and Mainene Road Districts ; the Omaha, Hotea, and Matakana Ridings of Rodney County ; that portion of Tauhoa Riding of Rodney County situated east of Sections Nos. 69, 70, 145, 75, 77, 78, 79, 80, 128, and 111, Parish of Tauhoa ; the whole of Upper Mahurangi Riding of Rodney County excepting that portion situated west of the Onehunga Stream and Kaitoto Stream which is included in the Kaipara District, hereinbefore described, and excepting also that further portion of the Upper Mahurangi bounded towards the north by the road leading from Warkworth towards Kaipara Flats ; towards the east by the Main North Road; towards the south by Puhoi Riding ; and towards the west by the road intersecting Section No. 13, Parish of Kourawhero, and by that road continued intersecting Sections Nos. 12 and 11 to Kaipara Flats : together with Mokohinau Lighthouse and adjacent islands. Kamo Town District is in this district. Waitemata. Waitemata District comprises the Boroughs of Devonporfc and Birkenhead ; the Puhoi Riding of Rodney County ; and a small portion of Upper Mahurangi Rid ; ng of Rodney County bounded towards the north by the road leading from Warkworth towards Kaipara Flats ; towards the east by the Main North Road; towards the south by Puhoi Riding of Rodney County ; and towards the west by the road intersecting Section No. 13, Parish of Kourawhero, and by that road continued intersecting Sections Nos. 12 and 11 to Kaipara Flats : together with the whole of Waitemata County excepting Waikomiti Riding, which lies along north side of Manukau Harbour, and that portion of the county absorbed by the Kaipara District, hereinbefore described. This distiict includes also the following islands—viz., Tiritiri, Bean Rock, Great and Little Barrier, Kawau, Motuhoro, Pine, and adjacent islands. Eden. Eden District comprises the Point Chevalier, Avondale, Mount RoskilJ, and Epsom Road Districts of Eden County; that portion of One-Tree Hill Road District situated north-west of the road leading westerly from the Great South Road near the Harp of Erin Inn to Mount Smart Road near the Royal Oak Hotel, passing en route Sections Nos. 7, 17a, 16, 15, and 14, and intersecting Section No. 13 : the whole of Mount Eden Road District of Eden County less that portion bounded on the north-west by Mount Albert and Eden Terrace Road Districts ; on the north by the City of Auckland to the Kaipara Railway-line ; towards the south by the railway-line to Mount Eden Road; and thence towards the east by the Mount Eden Road; on the south by The Terrace and the View Road to Mount Roskill Road; again towards the east by Mount Roskill Road for about 13 chains south of View Road to the road forming the south-western boundary of Subdivision No. 8 ; and towards the south-west by the last-mentioned road to Mount Albert Road District boundary ; and towards the west by Mount Albert Road District : also the whole of Mount Albert Road District of Eden County excepting that portion lying north of a line commencing at the eastern boundary of Point Chevalier Road District, and proceeding thence easterly along the Western Springs Road to the New North Road, and thence along the New North Road to the first road running south-east after passing Kingsland Railway-station, and thence south-easterly along the lastmentioned road, crossing George Street West, to Mount Roskill Road at the south-eastern boundary of Subdivision No. 7 : together with the Waikomiti Riding of Waitemata County. City of Auckland. City of Auckland District comprises the whole of the City of Auckland, together with that portion of the Borough of Grey Lynn lying eastward of a line commencing at the junction of a street in the Borough of Grey Lynn with the Great North Road, about 10 chains south-west of the easternmost corner of the Borough of Grey Lynn, and proceeding thence north-westerly along the north side of the said street, crossing successively Crumer Road and Williamson Avenue to Rose Road, thence westerly along the north side of Rose Road to the first street running northerly from Rose Road, and thence along the eastern side of the last-mentioned street to Ponsonby Road. Grey Lynn. Grey Lynn District comprises the whole of the Borough of Grey Lynn less that portion absorbed by the City of Auckland District, hereinbefore described, and the whole of the Arch Hill and Eden Terrace Road Districts of Eden County, together with those portions of Mount Albert and Mount Eden Road Districts of Eden County not absorbed by the Eden District, hereinbefore described. Parnell. Parnell District comprises the Boroughs of Parnell and Newmarket, and the Remuera, Orakei, Tamaki West, and Panmure Township Road Districts of Eden County, together with that portion of Mount Wellington Road District situated north of the road which starts at the Tamaki River, about 16 chains south of Tamaki Bridge, and runs westerly, passing the small lots near Panmure and striking the Great South Road about 10 chains below Penrose Junction Railwaystation. This district includes also the Auckland Domain.

Manukau. Manukau comprises the Borough of Onehunga; that portion of One-Tree Hill Road District of Eden County lying south-east of the road leading westerly from the Great South Road near the Harp of Erin Inn to Mount Smart Road near the Royal Oak Hotel, passing intermediately Sections Nos. 7, 17a, 16, 15, and 14, and intersecting Section No. 13 ; also that portion of Mount Wellington Road District situated south of the road which starts at the Tamaki River, about 16 chains south of Tamaki Bridge, and runs westerly, passing en route the small lots near Panmure, and striking the Great South Road about 10 chains below Penrose Junction Railway-station ; together with Otahuhu, Howick, and Papakura Ridings of Manukau County; the Opaheke Road District of Manukau County; and the outlaying district of Maungatawhiri Riding of Manukau County facing the Firth of Thames. This district includes also Ponui Island, Waiheke Island, Rotoroa, Pakatoa, Paheki, Rakino, Motutapa, Rangitoto, Motuihi, Brown's, and adjacent islands. Papakura Town District is in this district. Franklin. Franklin District comprises Awitu, Waiuku, and Pukekohe Ridings of Manukau County; the Paparata, Pokeno, Mercer, and Maungatawhiri Road Districts of Manukau County; the Onewhero and Whangape Ridings of Raglan County ; that portion of Te Akau Riding of Raglan County lying north of Rangikahu Stream; that portion of the Waingaro Riding of Raglan County lying north of the Te Paid Stream, Te Hue Stream, and Mangakara Stream, together with the whole of Waikato County less that portion situated south-east of the Hamilton-Morrinsville Railway, and less that further portion lying south of Komakorau Parish and between the Waikato River and the road leading northerly from the railway about a mile and a half on the Hamilton side of Ruakura Junction, passing Sections Nos. 238, 192, 191, 190, 189, 188, 187, 185, and 184, and that road continued northerly to Section No. 136; thence along the road fronting Sections Nos. 136 a and 137 to the road forming the western boundary of Section No. 86; thence along the last-mentioned road and its continuation, passing Sections Nos. 85, 84, 80, 79, 77, 74, and 73, to the southern boundary of Komakorau Parish : also that portion of Waitoa Riding of Piako County situated within the following boundaries —viz., commencing where the road which runs through the Manga-o-tupua Native Block intersects the western boundary of Piako County, and proceeding thence northerly along that road to the Hamilton-Te Aroha Railway; thence north-easterly along that railway to Morrinsville ; thence along lines so as to include Morrinsville to the railway-line, and thence easterly along the railway-line to the crossing at the Waitoa River, and thence up that river to the boundary of Waitoa Riding ; thence south-easterly along the boundary of Waitoa Riding to the Thames River near Stanley; thence down to the Thames River to the road forming the northern boundary of Section No. 64, Block XII., Aroha Survey District; thence westerly along that road and its continuation to Waihou Township ; thence along the eastern, southern, and western boundaries of Waihou Township to Rangiatea Settlement ; thence along the north-eastern boundary of Rangiatea Settlement to the Waitoa River, and thence northerly along that river to the northern boundary of Piako County; thence westerly along the northern boundary of Piako County and southerly along the western boundary of Piako County to the place of commencement : also that portion of Te Aroha Riding of Piako County situated south of line which extends easterly from the Thames River along the southern boundary of the Thames High School endowment, and thence due east to Tauranga County boundary; and that portion of Newcastle Riding of Waipa County situated in the fork of the Waikato and Waipa Rivers north-west of a line commencing at the north-western corner of Hamilton Riding at the road forming the northern boundary of Section No. 146, Pukete Parish, and proceeding along that road continued, passing Sections Nos. 136, 135, 134, 133, 132, and 210 a, to Ohote Stream, and thence along that stream to the Waipa River. Ngaruawahia Town District is in this district. Thames. Thames District comprises Coromandel County; the Parawai, Kauaeranga, and Waiotahi Ridings of Thames County ; and that portion of Hastings Riding of the same county lying west of the Waiwawa River and the Waiwhakaurunga Timber Leasehold ; together with the Borough of Thames, and Great Mercury and Cuvier Islands. Ohinemuri. Ohinemuri District comprises the whole of Thames County less that portion thereof absorbed by the Thames District, hereinbefore described ; the whole of Ohinemuri County less the Waihi Riding thereof, together with the Borough of Te Aroha; and those portions of Te Aroha and Waitoa Ridings of Piako County lying east and west respectively of the Borough of Te Aroha, and north of a line commencing at a point on the boundary between Piako and Tauranga Counties due east of the south-eastern corner of the Thames High School endowment, and proceeding thence due west to the said endowment; thence westerly along the southern boundary of the Thames High School endowment to the Thames River; thence northerly along the Thames River to the road forming the northern boundary of Section No. 64, Block XII., Aroha Survey District; thence westerly along that road and its continuation to the Township of Waihou ; thence by lines so as to include the Township of Waihou to Rangiatea Settlement; thence northerly along the eastern boundary of Rangiatea Settlement to the Waitoa River ; and thence northerly along that river to the northern boundary of Piako County. This district includes also Slipper Island. Waikato. Waikato District comprises the whole of Waipa County less the area lying in the fork of the Waikato and Waipa Rivers north-west of a line commencing at the north-western corner of

Hamilton Riding, at the road forming the northern boundary of Section No. 146, Pukete Parish, and proceeding thence southerly along that road and its continuation, passing Sections Nos. 136, 135, 134, 133, 132, and 210 a, to Ohote Stream, and thence along that stream to the Waipa River: the Cambridge and Tamahere Ridings of Waikato County : with that portion of Kirikiriroa Riding of Waikato County situated south-east of the Hamilton-Morrinsville Railway, and that further portion of Kirikiriroa Riding situated east of the Waikato River and south of Komakorau Parish, and west of the road commencing at the railway about a mile and a half on the Hamilton side of Ruakura Junction and running north from Section No. 238, Kirikiriroa Parish, passing Sections Nos. 192, 191, 190, 189, 188, 187, 185, 184, and that road continued northerly to Section No. 136, and thence along the road fronting Sections Nos. 136 a and 137 to the road forming the western boundary of Section No. 86, thence along the last-mentioned road and its continuation, passing Sections Nos. 85, 84, 80, 79, 78, 77, 74, and 73, to the southern boundary of Komakorau Parish; the Matamata and Taotaoroa Ridings of Piako County : and that portion of the Waitoa Riding of Piako County south-east of a line commencing where the road which intersects the Maunga-o-tupua Native Block crosses the western boundary of Piako County, and proceeding thence northerly along that road to the Hamilton-Te Aroha Railway ; thence north-easterly along that railway to Morrinsville ; thence along lines so as to exclude Morrinsville, and again to the railway-line; thence along the railway-line easterly to the crossing at the Waitoa River ; and thence up that river to the boundary of Waitoa Riding : that portion of Patetere Riding of Piako County situated west of a line commencing on the south-western boundary of Piako County at the road intersecting the Tokoroa No. 1 Block, and proceeding thence northerly along that road through Te Whetu No. 1 Block and Pakuranga No. 1 Block, and round the eastern boundaries of the Township of Lichfield to the old railway-line; thence along that line northerly for about a mile and a half to the nearest road branching off to the right; thence northerly along that road across the Oraka Stream, and on to the Thames River at the Mangapouri No. 1 Block, in Block VII., Patetere North Survey District; thence northerly along the Thames River to the road intersecting the Tuaraparaharaha No. 2 Block; thence easterly along that road and its continuation, and along the road leading to Tauranga which crosses the Piako County boundary in the Whaiti Kuranui No. 6b Block : the Karioi, Karamu, and Pirongia Ridings of Raglan County : and that portion of Te Akau Riding of Raglan County situated south of the Rangikahu Stream; that portion of Waingaro Riding of Raglan County situated south of Te Puke Stream, Te Hui Stream, and Mangakara Stream ; the whole of Kawhia County less that portion situated west of Mangaotaki River, and south of the line drawn from the source of that river to Tirua Point; and that portion of Clifton County not absorbed by the Egmont District, hereinafter described ; together with the whole of the County of West Taupo, and the Boroughs of Hamilton and Cambridge. The Town Districts of Kihikihi and Te Awamutu are in this district. Bay op Plenty. Bay of Plenty District comprises the whole of the Counties of Tauranga, Rotorua, East Taupo, Whakatane, and Opotiki, and the Boroughs of Waihi and Tauranga, together with the Waihi Riding of Ohinemuri County, and that portion of Patetere Riding of the Piako County not included in the Waikato District, hereinbefore described, and Motiti Island. The Town District of Opotiki is in this district. Waipawa. Waipawa District comprises the whole of the Counties of Cook and Waipawa and the Borough of Gisborne. Hawke's Bay. Hawke's Bay District comprises the whole of Wairoa County : the whole of Hawke's Bay County excepting—(l) Meeanee Riding : (2) portion of Erehwon Riding situated west of a line commencing at the county boundary on the summit of the Ruahine Range, and proceeding northerly along the summit of that range over Otupae Trig, to the Taruarua River, and thence along the Taruarua River to the northern boundary of Hawke's Bay County; (3) that portion of Clive Riding situated north of the Ngaruroro River, and north-east of a line commencing at the northeastern corner of Section No. 35, and proceeding thence southerly along the eastern boundary of Section No. 35 and the eastern bouudary of Section No. 9, thence along the northern boundary of Sections Nos. 22 and 8, West Clive Suburban, thence southerly along the road leading to the Township of Clive, and thence along the south-western boundary of the Township of Clive, and thence to the Tuki Tuki River; and (4) that portion of Petane Riding at the Spit included in the existing Electoral District of Napier : also the Oero Riding of Patangata County; also the whole of Patangata Riding of Patangata County excepting that portion lying south of the WaipawaTaumumu Road; also that portion of Waipawa Riding of Waipawa County situated north of a line commencing at the road leading westerly form the Township of Kaikora, intersecting Blocks 51, 49, 18, 180, 15, 142, 131, 17, 21, 23, to the Manga-o-nuku River, thence northerly along the right bank of the Manga-o-nuku River to its confluence with the Mangamouku River, and thence along the right bank of the Mangamouku River to the western boundary of Waipawa Riding. This district comprises also the Boroughs of Napier and Hastings. Portland Island and the Town Districts of Kaikora North and Clyde are in this district. Napier. Napier District comprises the whole of the existing Electoral District of Napier, together with that portion of Clive Riding of Hawke's Bay County situated north of the Ngaruroro River, and north-east of a line commencing at the north-eastern corner of Section No. 35, and proceeding southerly along the eastern boundary of Section No, 35 and the eastern boundary of Section No, 9,

thence along the northern boundary of Sections 22 and 8, West Clive Suburban, thence southerly along the road leading to the Township of Clive, and thence along the south-west boundary of the Township of Clive, and thence to the Tuki Tuki River ; also that portion of the Meeanee Riding of Hawke's Bay County situated south of and adjoining the existing Napier Electoral District. Taradale Town District is in this district. Waipawa. Waipawa District comprises the whole of Waipawa County, less the northern portion of Waipawa Riding, situated north of a line commencing at the road leading westerly from the Township of Kaikora, intersecting Blocks 51, 49, 18, 180, 15, 142, 131, 17, 21, and 23, to the Manga-o-nuku River; thence northerly along the right bank of the Manga-o-nuku River to its confluence with the Mangamouku River; and thence along the right bank of the Mangamouku River to the western boundary of Waipawa Riding ; and less that portion of Dannevirke Riding of Waipawa County situated south-west of a line commencing where the Tahoraite-Wainui Road crosses the south-eastern boundary of Waipawa County, and proceeding north-westerly along the Tahoraite-Wainui Road to the Manga-a-toro Stream, and thence along that stream to the Manawatu River, and thence along the right bank of the Manawatu River to the south-western boundary of Waipawa County : together with the Ridings of Taumumu and Eparaima of Patangata County; the northern portion of Porangahau Riding of Patangata County, situated north of the boundary-line between the existing Waipawa and Pahiatua Electoral Districts ; and a small portion of Patangata Riding of Patangata County, situated south of the Waipawa-Taumumu Road ; together with the Borough of Dannevirke. The Town Districts of Ormondville and Waipawa are in this district. Pahiatua. Pahiatua District comprises the whole of the Counties of Pahiatua, Woodville, and Akitio, the Boroughs of Pahiatua and Woodville, together with those portions of Porangahau Riding of Patangata County, Dannevirke Riding of Waipawa County, and Alfredton Riding of Masterton County, situated within the existing Pahiatua Electoral District. Masterton. Masterton District has the same boundaries as the existing Masterton Electoral District. Wairarapa. Wairarapa District has the same boundaries as the existing Wairarapa Electoral District. Egmont. Egmont District comprises the whole of Clifton County, less that portion situated north-east of a line commencing at the confluence of the Taringamutu River with the Ongaruhe River, about two miles and a half north of Taumarunui, and proceeding thence westerly along the northern houndaries of the Pongahuru, Iriwhata, and Ohura South Native Blocks to the Ohura River ; thence across the Ohura River and along the summit of the western watershed of the Waikaka River to Rangipuanoano; thence along the eastern boundaries of the Waikaukau and Pukeuha Blocks to the Mokau-iti River, and along that river to the Mokau River : together with that portion of Kawhia County lying south-west of the Mangaotaki River, and south of a line drawn from the source of that river westerly to the sea-coast at Tirua Point: the Waitara West Road District of Taranaki County ; that portion of Moa Riding of Taranaki County situated in the existing Egmont Electoral District, and North and West Ridings of Stratford County, and Waitara Town District. The Town District of Inglewood is in this district. Taranaki. Taranaki District comprises the Borough of New Plymouth: and that portion of Taranaki County situated within the existing Taranaki Electoral District, less the area covered by Waitara West Road District: together with that portion of Egmont County situated north-west of a line commencing at the Manihi Road near the sea-coast, and proceeding easterly along that road to the Main South Road; thence northerly along the Main South Road to the Kahui Road; thence easterly along the Kahui Road to Section No. 18, Block XIV., Cape Survey District; thence northerly along the western boundaries of Sections 18, 13, 8, and 7 to Newall Road; and thence across Newall Road and along the western boundaries of Section No. 7, Block X., Cape Survey District, to Waiweranui Stream; and thence across that stream and along the western boundary of Section No. 6 to the northern boundary of Egmont County. Hawera. Hawera District comprises that portion of Egmont County situated south-east of a line commencing at the Manihi Road near the coast and proceeding easterly along that road to the Main South Road; thence northerly along the Main South Road to the Kahui Road; thence easterly along the Kahui Road to Section No. 18, Block XIV., Cape Survey District; thence northerly along the western boundaries of Sections 18, 13, 8, and 7 to Newall Road, and thence across Newall Road and along the western boundaries of Section No. 7, Block X., Cape Survey District, to Waiweranui Stream; thence across that stream and along the western boundary of Section No. 6 to the northern boundary of Egmont County : also the Waimate, Mangatoki, and Okaiawa Ridings of Hawera County : that part of Eltham Riding of Hawera County lying to the south-west of a line commencing where the Mountain Road crosses the Eltham Borough boundary, and pro-

ceeding southerly along that road to Rotokare Road ; thence easterly along Rotokare Road to Tiromoana Road ; and thence along Tiromoana Road to the southern boundary of Eltham Riding : also that portion of Hawera Riding of Hawera County situated south-west of a line commencing at the junction of Makino Road with Whareroa Road, and proceeding southerly along Whareroa Road to Morea Road; thence north-easterly along Morea Road to Mataimaroke Road, and thence along that road to the road forming the western boundary of Section No. 6, Block IV., Hawera Survey District; thence southerly along the last-mentioned road to the south-eastern boundary of Hawera Riding : also that portion of Mokoia Riding of Hawera County situated south and west of a line commencing at Kaitoke Road on the north-western boundary of Mokoia Riding, and proceeding easterly along Kaitoke Road to Meremere Road ; thence southerly and westerly along Meremere Road to Noonan Road ; thence westerly along Noonan Road to the Township of Mokoia ; and thence along the eastern boundaries of the Township of Mokoia to the railway-line ; and thence along the railway-line to the south-eastern boundary of Hawera County : together with the Borough of Hawera. Patea District comprises the whole of Stratford County excepting North Riding and West Riding thereof, the whole of Patea County, and that portion of Eltham Riding of Hawera County situated north-east of a line commencing where the Mountain Road crosses the Eltham Borough boundary, and proceeding southerly along that road to Rotokare Road; thence easterly along Rotokare Road to Tiromoana Road ; and thence along Tiromoana Road to the southern boundary of Eltham Riding : also that portion of Hawera Riding of Hawera County situated north-east of a line commencing at the junction of Makino Road with Whareroa Road, and proceeding southerly along Whareroa Road to Morea Road ; thence north-easterly along Morea Road to Mataimaroke Road, and thence along that road to the road forming the- western boundary of Section No. 6, Block IV., Hawera Survey District; thence southerly along the last-mentioned road to the southeastern boundary of Hawera Ridmg : also that portion of Mokoia Riding of Hawera County situated north and east of a line commencing at Kaitoke Road on the north-western boundary of Mokoia Riding, and proceeding easterly along Kaitoke Road to Meremere Road; thence southerly and westerly along Meremere Road to Noonan Road ; thence westerly along Noonan Road to the Township of Mokoia; thence along the eastern boundaries of the Township of Mokoia to the railway-line ; and thence along the railway-line to the south-eastern boundary of Hawera County : together with the Boroughs of Stratford, Eltham, and Patea. Wanganui District comprises the Borough of Wanganui : that portion of the Kaitoke Riding of Wanganui County situated west of a line commencing at the southernmost corner of Run No. 15, near Wilson's Bluff on the sea-coast, and proceeding along the south-eastern and eastern boundaries of Run No. 15 to Section No. 258; thence northerly along the eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 258, 257, 263, and 7 to No. 1 line ; thence easterly along No. 1 Line to the road forming the western boundary of Section No. 104, Block VI., Ikitara Survey District; thence northerly along that road and its continuation to the northern boundary of Kaitoke Riding: also that portion of Purua Riding situated west of a line commencing at the road between Sections 39 and 40, Block VI., Ikitara Survey District, and proceeding northerly along that road and its continuation to the northern boundary of Purua Riding: also that portion of Mataongaonga Riding situated west of Sections Nos. 293, 359, and 354, Block 111., Ikitara Survey District: also that
