UNIMPROVED VALUE, AND RATES COLLECTED IN DUNEDIN, CHRISTCHURCH, WELLINGTON, AND AUCKLAND, AND ADJACENT BOROUGHS, IN YEARS ENDING 31st MARCH, 1894 AND 1895.

Return to an Order of the House of Representatives dated the 24th July, 1895. Ordered, " That a return be laid before this House showing the unimproved value (less all exemptions under the Eating Act) in the Cities of Dunedin, Ohristchurch, Wellington, Auckland, and the boroughs adjacent thereto ; also, the total amount in each city or borough of all ordinary or special rates collected during the years ending 31st March, 1894 and 1895."—(Mr. Eabnshaw.)
