Ordered, " That a return be laid before this House showing the unimproved value (less all exemptions under the Eating Act) in the Cities of Dunedin, Ohristchurch, Wellington, Auckland, and the boroughs adjacent thereto ; also, the total amount in each city or borough of all ordinary or special rates collected during the years ending 31st March, 1894 and 1895."—(Mr. Eabnshaw.)
