DEFERRED-PAYMENT SELECTORS (RETURN OF THE NUMBER OF).

Return to an Order of the Mouse of Representatives, dated 10th August, 1882. " That there be laid upon the table a return showing the number of deferred-payment selectors who took up land after the coining into operation of " The Crown Lands Sale Act, 1877," at a minimum upset price of £2 per acre; such return to show the difference in total amount of annual rents so paid in any one year, and the sum that would hare been payable in such year at the minimum upset price of £1 per acre." — (Mr, De Lautour.)
