COST OF BUILDING S.S. "HINEMOA" (RETURN OF).
Return to an Order of the House of Representatives, dated Ist August, 1877. Ordered, " That there be laid upon the table a return Bhowing—(l.) The contract price for building the s.s. ' Hiiienioa.' (2.) The amount paid for extras in Britain. (3.) The total cost of ship on arrival in Wellington. (4.) If insured."— (Mr. Maefarlane.) The contract price for building the s.s. " Hinemoa" was £23,500. The amount paid for extras in Britain was £1,838 18s. 2d. The total cost of ship on arrival in "Wellington was £29,587 15s. Id. She is not insured. G. S. Coopek, Under Secretary.
