Return to an Order of the House of Representatives, dated Ist August, 1877. Ordered, " That there be laid upon the table a return Bhowing—(l.) The contract price for building the s.s. ' Hiiienioa.' (2.) The amount paid for extras in Britain. (3.) The total cost of ship on arrival in Wellington. (4.) If insured."— (Mr. Maefarlane.) The contract price for building the s.s. " Hinemoa" was £23,500.
