TAUHEI NEWS

The final meeting of the year was held recently, when St. Andrew’s Hall presented a very gay appearance, the occasion being Members’ Day. Mrs G. Milnes occupied the chair, the secretary for the afternoon being Mrs T. Pearson and assistant secretary, Mrs J. R. Fow. Before proceeding with the business of the meeting Mrs Milnes expressed the pleasure of the members at having the opportunity of entertaining the officers and standing committee. A feature of the afternoon was the answering of questions regarding the home and children and a short discussion on school lunches was given by Mrs Milnes, her helpful suggestions being much appreSongs by Mrs Burn and elocution by Mrs Hull were enjoyed, the accompanist being Mrs Storey.
