MATCH ENDS IN DRAW In a cricket match concluded yesterday Hamilton Technical School drew with Thames High School on the Mill Street ground. Technical scored 158 for five wickets (J. Hobbs 59, E. Petrie 22, M. smith 41 not out; N. Burrett 3 for 50), against its opponents’ 124 for 7 wickets (Burrett 70 not out, L. Hobbis 33, R. Moroney 4 for 18; P. Greene 3 for 29). Features of the game were the second wicket partnership of 82 by Hobbs and Petrie for Technical and the ten fours hit by Burrett, the Thames top-scorer.
