HOMELAND SOCIETY
At the fortnightly meeting of the Homeland Society held recently Mrs Morley, the president, presided over a good attendance and Mrs Harris was welcomed as a new member. A guessing competition was won by Mrs Richardson. It was decided to send two parcels overseas to two sons of a member.
Those present were:—Mesdames W. G. Griffiths, F. Bishop, T. Hindle, R. H. Conder, Harris, Taylor, Fensom, M. Whittington, S. Coupe, E. Scott, G. Hunt, H. Alker, H. Tomlinson, T. Richardson, T. Barnett, J. H. Morley, T. Warren, Cannell, M. Woodward. The hostesses for the afternoon were Mesdames Woodward and Whittington.
