Mrs E. N. S. D'Arcy, Hamilton, returns tomorrow from a holiday at the Mount, Tauranga.
Mrs F. E. Fisher, Hamilton, has returned from a holiday in New Plymouth.
Mrs T. Bailey, Napier, is visiting Hamilton. Miss Denniston has returned to Hamilton from a holiday at Mhunganui.
The recently appointed lecturer in mathematics at Auckland University College, Miss Theo Marsh, has arrived in Auckland. She has been junior lecturer at Otago University for the last three years and had a distinguished career at that university as a student after leaving Takapuna Grammar School. She won two scholarships and graduated M.Sc. with first-class honours in 1938, and was awarded the Cooke Memorial Prize for heading the honours list in New Zealand.
