RUSSIAN SUCCESSES

CENTRAL FRONT ADVANCES THREE TRANSPORTS SUNK (Li r iJicis Press Assn. —Cite. Tel. CopyngDk; (Received Feb. 13, 3.15 p.m.) LONDON, Feb. 12 The Moscow newspaper Izvestia reports that the Germans have been dislodged from nine more populated localities on the central front. In one of these localities an entire enemy garrison was annihilated. A Russian submarine sank three German transports in an unnamed port, evaded depth charges and reached its base safely. An example of the effectiveness of the guerilla operations in Russia is given in a Moscow message. In operations lasting four months a guerilla detachment, working in an enemy zone, temporarily occupied two towns and killed two generals, 17 other officers, 409 soldiers and some traitors. They blew up three railway bridges and seven wooden bridges and wrecked one bomber.
