TRAINED TERRITORIALS EXPEDITIONARY FORCE APPLICATIONS CLOSE TODAY Serving territorials who have completed their period of intensive training may volunteer as additional personnel for the New Zealand Expeditionary Force. Those eligible are 21 years of age and not yet past their 41st birthday, and who have been graded 1 by the Medical Board. Papakura units requiring additional men are artillery and infantry, while at Trentham military camp there are vacancies in the infantry machine-gun and ordnance corps. Men will be required to report at those camps not later than next Wednesday, but applications close at the area offices at Auckland, Paeroa, Whongarei and Hamilton at 5 p.m. today.
