ANNUAL PRIZE-GIVING
ANGLICAN SUNDAY SCHOOL The Hamilton East Anglican Sunday School held its annual tea and prize-giving in the church, Nixon Street Hall, recently. The Sunday school superintendent, Mrs R. Ritchie, was in the chair. There was a large attendance of parents and friends, and the Sunday School pupils presented an enjoyable programme, after which Mr T. Gooie, presented the prizes. A vote of thanks was passed to Mrs Ritchie and the assistant teachers, Mrs McAdam and Misses I. King and N. Geach, for wonderful co-operation and work in the Sunday School. Presentations to the superintendent and teachers of bouquets and gifts from the pupils were then made, and they were accorded musical honours. Christmas carols and community singing brought an enjoyable evening to a close. Among those present were:—Mesdames L. F. Barry, E. C. Sutcliffe, E. E. -Morris, F. D. Dunkley, J. Hayes. Major, E. Edwards, F. Young, Tindall, Rice, Petty, Hale, Rush, Bettir. Greeft. F. King, Hampton, Harrington, Seaville, W. Haines, Macdam. Kelly, W. Hanson, Curtis and A. Burgoyne. Misses N. Geach, I. King, C. Ritchie, N. Barry, J. Mathieson, J. Signal, D. Signal.
