j tiUREKA SCHOOL FUNCTION j ’ I A pleasant afternoon took place at the Eureka School recently, when the ladies of the district were entertained by the teachers and pupils. An enjoyable programme was presented bv ihe children and there was also an interesting display of iheir year’s handwork During the afternoon the presentation of a miniature cup was made to Bruce Hinton, the winner of the school tennis tournament this year. At the close of the function afternoon tea. which was kindly provided jby the ladies, was served.
