PRE-WEDDING PARTY
BLUE BATHROOM GIFTS Miss Noeline Peterson hostessed a delightful morning tea party at her home on Monday, in honour of Miss Cathie Speight, whose marriage to Mr Ivan Clark takes place on Saturday. The rooms were bright with bowls of berries and lovely chrysanthemums in autumn colours, a glowing log fire adding a cheery note. After the serving of a delicious morning tea. the guest-of-honour was presented with the large array of gifts for a blue bathroom, from her friends, with their best wishes for her future happiness. Miss Speight suitably responded. Miss Peterson was wearing a honey beige two-piece suit, and Miss Speight wore a powder blue suit, a matching blue felt hat and furs. Those present were:—Mesdames W.
