CHURCH FUNDS BENEFIT The combined district of the Paterangi Parish held a very successful bring and buy afternocu at the Ngahinapouri Hall recently, to augment the funds of the church. Several interesting competitions were held, and the following stall-
j holders did brisk business:—Produce, ! Mesdames Neil Reid and S. Smith ' and Misses Macky and Rhodes; mis- | cellaneous. Mesdames J. McGregor i and J. Clark; sweets, Mesdames C. 1 Baker and H. Rybum and Miss E. j Gillard. Afternoon tea was served by j Mesdames A. Bromwich. T. Wing, i Moss. Neilson and Pullman.
