MAJOR CLAYTON=GREENE NOW LIEUTENANT-COLONEL POSTED TO COAST COMMAND Information was received in Hamilton today that Major E. F. ClaytonGreene, 0.8. E., of Hamilton, who has been on coastal defence duty at Auckland for several months, has been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel and posted to the command of the First Heavy Group, New Zealand Coast Artillery. Before being posted to the coastal defences shortly after the outbreak of war, Lieutenant-Colonel ClaytonGreene was officer commanding' the Second Medium Battery, N.Z.A., with headquarters at Hamilton.
