Copyright) (Received Sept. 23, 11.45 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 22 Rumania awoke virtually under a military dictatorship and is still fearing serious repercussions as a result of the assassination of the Prime Minister, M. Calinescu. The country, however, is quiet, and there is no immediate indication that the Government is unable to handle the situation. A German wireless professes heartfelt relief that the Government has stamped out tfie murderers and prevented a spread of the trouble, which might have affected the country’s neutrality. It is revealed that nine assassins were blindfolded and shot one by one with the same pistols as were used against M. Calinescu, while crowds of people looked onThere were hundreds of arrests overnight and many more are expected.
