FORTNIGHTLY MEETING

JUNIOR WOMEN’S CLUB The Junior Women’s Club held its fortnightly meeting recently, with a good attendance of members and friends. A musical competition, -with Mrs Edgecumbe at. the piano, was won by Mrs Norris, and songs by Mrs Colin Wilson accompanied by ' Mrs Grant During the later part of the afteri noon. Mrs Karl, a delegate to the Y.W.C.A. National Board conference at Wellington recently, gave an interesting talk nil the discussions and plans made at this conference. A delicious afternoon tea was served, the hostesses being Mrs Neil and Miss Price. Those present were:—Me.sdames Earl, Nurns. Edgecumbe, A. s. Green, E. B. McKenzie. R. Bradley, E. A. Duncan. i;•»Ii• i Wils"ii, Grant, F. Brewer, Parsons, Hope-J-.bnstone. Misses Yeung. Wells, Runaldson, Price and Mawson.
