OBITUARY

REV. R. FERGUSON Advice has been received of the death in Glasgow, at the age of 76, of the Rev. Robert Ferguson, a Presbyterian minister formerly well known in Auckland and in Invercargill. MR WILLIAM HART (By Telegraph—Press Association) HASTINGS, Saturday The death has occurred of Mr William Hart, formerly Mayor of Hastings, aged 75. For a time he was employed in the printing trade in Dunedin, and later joined the Oamaru Mail, where he remained for 21 years before coming to Hastings, where, in 1899, he took over the Hastings Standard.
