BRIGADE CALLED OUT

STRAW PADDING ALIGHT VICTORIA STREET OUTBREAK The Hamilton, Fire Brigade wan called at 11.30 a.m. to-day to a minor outbreak of fire in a two-storeyed wooden building situated at the rear of the Regal diningroom premises in Victoria Street. On arrival the brigade discovered that three separate small fires had broken out in straw and sacking padding round pillars in the ground floor of the building, used by the Waikato Wrestling Association for training purposes. The fires were easily extinguished by the use of first-aid equipment. No structural damage was done to the buildiing nor were any of the other contents injured. The upper storey is used for the storage of machinery by Messrs D. McL. Wallace, Limited.
