FAREWELL PARTY

ENJOYABLE EVENING BPENT PRESENTATION BY CHOIR .An enjoyable farewell party was given in honour of Miss Theo Edmunds at the home of her parents, Albert ; Street, on Thursday evening, when members of St. Peter's Cathedral choir j and friends gathered to bid her fare- j well prior to her departure for the Wellington Dental Clinic. The time passed happily with community singing and competitions, interspersed with items. During the evening the Dean of Hamilton, the Very Rev. T. P. Weatherhog, presented the guest of honour with a small gift on behalf of the choir in appreciation of her many years of service. Mrs P. Edmunds received the guests wearing a frock of leaf green floral georgette. Miss Edmunds was wearing orange and brown floral linen. The following much-appreciated items were presented :—Songs, Mrs Clem Black and Mr George Wheeler; elocutionary items, Miss N. Watkins. Miss Dorothy Cobb and Mr George e Wheeler were the accompanists. * Among those present were:—Mrs T. a P. Weatherhog, Mrs D. Church, Mrs * H. Raven, Mrs Clem Black (Opotiki), J Mrs A. R.
