STRUGGLING IN WATER

ELDERLY MAN RESCUED (By Telegrapn.—press Association) AUCKLAND, Thursday A single man, Mr Harry Sturdes (60), was rescued from near the Onehunga Wharf from drowning in the Manukau Harbour this morning. He was first seen struggling in the water and was rescued by Mr John "Harris .and others. Mr Sturdes suffered head injuries, but it is not known how he got into the water."
