NATIONAL CANDIDATE (By Telegraph.—rress Association) WHAXGAREI, Thursday Mr A. J. Murdoch was selected today to contest the Marsden seat in the interests of the National Party at the forthcoming general election 1 . The other nominee was Mr P. IR. Gardner. Approximately 350 delegates from all parts of the electorate attended the conference at Walpu. which was the largest gathering of the kind ever held in the electorate.
