In the Williamstown Cup, of £2500 and trophy valued at £IOO, 1$ miles, Wotan has 8.8; Flood Tide, 8.6; Prince Quex, 8.3; Sir Simper, 8.0 and International, 7.3. Balkan Prince was shown to have improved when he was exercised this morning. SIR REGENT BETTER i CREIGHTON TO RIDE WOTAN MELBOURNE, Oct. 25 Manolive broke down while contesting the Moonee Valley Gup and may not race again. Black Mac was kicked prior to the start of the W. S. Cox Plate and was lame to-day but his condition is improving. Sir Regent is improving and his Melbourne Cup prospects are more hopeful. Breeze is coming from Sydney and is to run in the V.R.C. Oaks. N. Creighton Is to ride Wotan in the Melbourne Cup.
