THE MANDATES COMMISSION. SPECIAL SESSION OPENS. PALESTINE REPORT CONSIDERED. (Official Wireless.) (Received; July 31, 11 a.m.) RUGBY, July 30. A special session of the Permanent Mandates Comipission of the League of Nations opened this morning, under the presidency of M. Herre Orts (Belgium). It has before it the report of the Royal Commission on Palestine. The British Government is represented by Mr. W. Ormsby-Gore. The Jewish and Arab delegations are at present in Geneva. Study of Administration. The Mandates Commission decided before taking the Palestine report to proceed with a regular study of the Palestine administration over the past two years, on the basis of the mandatory’s report for 1935 and a full report on the disturbances.
