A message from Baltimore states that an explosien and fire occurred on the excursion steamer City of Baltimore in Chesapeake Bay. Five people were killed and 30 are missing. Sixtylive people were rescued. The captain was saved, suffering from severely burned hands. Five coastguard vessels and private craft speeded to the scene and rendered aid.
