WHARE DAMAGED.

STRUCK BY LIGHTNING. BOY THROWN OFF STOOL. (Special to Times). PUTARURU, Thursday. Extensive damage was done to a whare on Messrs Pumfrey Brothers’ farm at Waotu when it was struck by lightning on Wednesday. The lightning struck tlie corner of the whare tearing off the rusticating and smashing the match-board lining. Large portions of the woodwork were hurled through an opposite window and sheets of iron were torn from the roof. The chimney also was struck down. The two brothers were in the milking shed at theHime. A boy who was milking a row was thrown off his slool and Ihe cow was thrown t,> the ground while a pig valued at £2 was killed.
