At the annual meeting of the Otorohanga Gun Club Mr B. E. Lawrence presided over a good attendance or members. The balance-sheet disclosed a credit balance of £2l Is lOd with no liabilities. The election of officers resulted: President, Mr H. E'. Lawrence; vice-presidents, Messrs. McCready and W. Holmes; patron, Mr W. Signal; handicappers and selectors, Messrs. M. Pratt and F. Hyde; executive, Messrs. L. Scown, W. Seymour, F. Hycle and the president, vice-presidents and secretary, Mr M. Pratt. The Christmas shoot was arranged for December 21. Maihiihl Anniversary Funotion. The anniversary concert and services in connection with the Maihiihl undenominational Sunday School and prize presentation took place on Sunday. Mr F. Crespln, of the Alexander Street Mission, Auckland, was the preacher. Some entertaining Items were presented and the Bible Class presented a tableaux. High School Re-unlon. A large gathering of ex-puplls of the Otorohanga District High school was entertained by the present teaching stall and pupils, on the school grounds on Wednesday afternoon. A cricket match between the old girls and the present girls was won by the latter, as was a contest between the old hoys and present boys. In the evening a dance was held In the Town Hall annexe, when there was a good attendance. O’Rourke's Orchestra provided the dance music. Personal. Messrs. J. J. Walker and Vincent Walker, who have rarmed Tor many years In the Otorohanga district, will shortly take up their residence in Hamilton.
