OBITUARY.
MR M. HUNOPO. TE AWAMUTU. Friday. One of the best-known Maori footballers In the Whip a district, Mr Moses Ilunopo, died yesterday at his home, Owairaka, alter a long illness, at the age of about 30 years. About four years ago lie and several other natives were involved in a motoring accident on the Kihiklhl-Arapuni main highway, not far from the Kihikihl schoolhouse. He was badly injured and did not make a complete recovery, and latterly his health had been very poor. A few years ago Mr Ilunopo played under the Waipa Rugby Union banner and also was champion for two years of the Owairaka-Tennis Club. lie leaves a widow and two children. ADMIRAL KONDOURIOTIS. FORMER PRESIDENT OF GREECE. United Press Assn.— Elec. Tel. Copyright ATHENS, August 22. The death lias occurred of Admiral Kondouriolis, a former President of Greece. The laic Admiral Kondouriolis. who was 78 years of age, was Minister of Marine in three different Cabinets during I ills-1 (i; became a member of the Salonika Triumvirate in September, I Did, and in .lime, 1217, was again Minister of Marine. In .1920, on the death of King Alexander and before the return of King Constantine, Admiral Kondouriolis was Regent.

Admiral Kondouriolis retained dllicc. his title being changed to Provisional President of Ihe Republic. In 1 1» 2('» Admiral Kondouriolis resigned the Presidency, lull was re-elected early In 1929. lie resigned again in December of that year.
