Since early last month ' the hoy has crossed the American continent alone, and travelled from Vancouver to Auckland, where lie was , met yesterday by liis uncle, Mr E. J. (lonian, of Hamilton. Lawrence, who lived in Jersey Gity, I near New York, lost his mother shortly before Christmas last year, and his! : father decided lo send him to New! Zealand to be brought up. He will - then probably become a pupil of one | of the State schools.
