During the mock air raid over Kent last night all householders drew their blinds, the police ensuring voluntary observance of the improvised regulations. Aerial observers will make special reports lo the Admiralty on the tests. The Mayor of Chatham, looking on from the darkened balcony of the Town Hall, said, “We remember the wartime disaster here, and do not want a repetition.”
