HOCKEY.
WAIKATO ASSOCIATION; MANAGEMENT DECISIONS. The nomination of six teams In both the senior and junior grades of the Hamilton competitions were received at a meeting of the management committee of the Waikato 'Hockey Association. The chairman, Mr W. G. Fabling, presided. Permission was granted the Old Technicals Club to travel to Auckland for a practice match and the Old Boys 'Club to participate In a seven-■a-side tournament at Tammarunui on May 6.
Messrs W. G. Fabling and F. V. ; C. Grade were appointed delegates to the committee of the Primary Schools’ Association which intends to commence competitions next week. Arrangements for the seven-a-slde tournament to be held at Hamilton in conjunction with the Waikato Ladies’ Hookey. Association on June 3 were completed and entries are being solicited from clubs throughout the South Auckland district. Handsome trophies have been presented for competition.
GAME AT- IYIOTUMAOHO. A practice game at the Morrlnsville grounds on Saturday resulted in the Motumaoho women’s hockey players securing a win from Morrlnsville by one goal to nil. Miss Fagan scored for Motumaoho.
