GLIDER CRASHES.

FALL OF 1200 FEET.

THE PILOT KILLED.

united Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright.

NEW YORK, Dec. 1.

A message from Miami, Florida, states that Mr. Warren Eaton, an amateur glider pilot and president of the Soaring Society of America, was killed to-day, when his motorless plane crashed in Biscayne. Bay from 1200 feet.

The glider was attached to an aeroplane and apparently caught the wake from the propeller. It suddenly shot upward and broke loose from the towing cable.
