COLLISION IN AUCKLAND.

CAR AND MOTOR-CYCLE. THREE MEN INJURED. AUCKLAND, Monday. At Archhill on Saturday night a motor-cyclist and a companion riding on the pillion-seat were thrown over a motor-car with which their machine collided. The men and the driver of the car received head injuries and concussion. The injured are:— Frank Powley, aged 14, of Archhill, who was riding on the pillionseat. Condition serious. Tom Griffin, aged 20, single, of Grey Lynn, the rider of the motoreye'e. Condition fairly’ serious. " Mr. W. Gregory, middle-aged, of Archhill, driver of the motor-car. Condition not serious. The two riders were hurled over the car, crashing on their heads on the concrete roadway. Both were rendered unconscious. The force of the collision was sufficient to throw the driver, Mr. Gregory, against the wdndscreen, which was splintered. Mr. Gregory was dazed by the blow, and was also slightly cut by broken glass. The front portion of the motorcycle was damaged extensively.
