Bequests Under Will. —Under the of Miss Mary Carter, of Walmate, £4OOO Is bequeathed to the Knox Presbyterian Clniroh, Waimatc, for the purpose of building a new church, and 54 £IOOO to Knox College, Dunedin. The residue of the estate, after provision for 1 relatives, Is left equally between Ibe Tlmaru Presbyterian Orphanage, Ihc home mission fund of the Presbyterian Church, tho foreign mission fund of the same Church, the theological committee, and the New Zealand branch of the British and Foreign 5-tiblo Society. It is estimated that these five bodies will each receive approximately £IOOO. The total bequests aro about £IO,OOO.
